He him• self a Melodious singer that has been proved in cassettes released under the following titles. Ankura, Shakthi Kodu Prabuve, Kaadu Mallige, Sri Sannidi, Vatsalya Jeethas, Bhumi – Bhaanu, Sri Sathyanaraya Swamy Suprabhatha, Vanasomvadhana, NaIrne Nesara, Etc.,

He has written 47 songs for Adi Chunchanagiri Sad ana Siri and Megha Serials like “Mayur Dharshana.” (Ballet)

He is serving as Governing Council Member for SET since 15-08-2003.

He served as an Editor for Kannada and English monthly News Paper under the title of “Adi Chunchanagiri” and “Sri Kshetra Adi Chunchangiri” since 01.03.2004 to and Edited Two Monthlys till 01.03.2007.

He rendered his services as the Principal of SLN PU College Since 1999 to 2004. He has enlighted the people of Karnataka through his speeches poems etc., has a Karnataka Cultural Ambassador.

At present Dr. D.R.G is Nominated MLC by the Government of Karnataka.

Recently he is awarded” Jayachamaraja Wadeyar Literary Award” with felicitation given by Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar (Art of Living, Bangalore)

He along with his wife Dr. K. Rajeshwari Gowda attended “Akka” Conference held in Chicago (USA) on 29’h Aug. 2008.

His Son D. Bharath and daughter D. Smitha, both of them are Kannada Lecturers and they are in the habbit of writing Kannada Poems and Articles.
